I guess I don't understand why "Digger Pine" is perjorative, and "Chinese House" is not. Maybe, political correctness is stronger for some cultures than others, or maybe the dominant culture has a stonger sense of guilt about some minority cultures than others.

The short corollas and reflexed or declined flowers suggest P. procerus, whereas the scarious margins of the sepals suggest P. rydbergii (see Weber & Wittmann, 2012).
