No. 787, 15 Dec 2011, characters observed while keying: Perennial herb, to 6 dm; Leaves opposite, lower elliptic, entire, obtuse, to 8 cm, petiole to 3 cm, glabrous, proximal caluine leaves well developed; Infloresence axis glabrous; Pedicels glabrous (i.e., not glandular); Calyx 4 mm; Corolla blue, 9-12 mm; Stamens 2 unequal pairs, 7 and 9 mm; Anthers glabrous, dehiscing full length; Staminode glabrous, one observed with three large hairs or small protuberences on margin.
