There is a little swale or wash here. About half way up the slope to Forest Road 01S19D, I collected yet another Diplacus mephiticus (Syn: Mimulus nanus var. mephiticus) that was a little ambiguous as to var. mephiticus vs. var. nanus. Right by the road is the first location I collected and recognized Penstemon cinicola. | |
