Coll. No. 3380, 12 September 2024, characters observed: Annual grass, to 2 cm., in little tufts; Leaves, sheath, 8 mm., open, ligule, ciliate, 0.2 mm., blade, 12 mm. × 0.8 mm. wide, involute, glabrous; Inflorescence, 1 per culm, <leaves, eyelash-like raceme of 14-15 spikelets, 12 mm. × 3.5 mm. wide; Spikelets, 4 mm. × 1 mm. wide, similar, borne singly, pedicels 0.3 mm.; Disarticulation, above the glumes. Glumes, lower, 1.6-1.7 mm., veins, 1, upper, 3.0-3.2 mm., <lowest floret, veins, 1, awns, 0; Florets, 2 per spikelet, 1 fertile + 1 sterile reduced; Lemma, 4 mm., >glumes, proximally 0.6 mm. straight white hairs mostly along mid-vein and margin, veins, #3, parallel and extended like flattened awns; Palea, 2.5 mm.; Achene, 1.5 mm. × 0.6 mm. wide, flattened, greenish-brown.
