The Illinois Street Open Space is a small urban area located at the east end of Illinois Street, adjacent to Fossil Trace Golf Course. Spearheaded by Harmony Village residents, the land was acquired to preserve its unique 360-degree scenic views from the top of a knoll. A short, winding dirt trail leads to the knoll, which offers views of the Foothills, North and South Table Mountains, and clear night skies.
