Determination tentative. Scanned 16 March 2011. Background grid is 10 x 10 to the inch. Coll. No. 507, 2 Aug 2007, characters observed: Herbaceous perennial, to 40 cm.; Roots and rhizomes unknown; Stem ascending; Leaves, petiole to 40 mm., palmately compound; Leaflets 3, not gland dotted, toothed-serrate as extensions of veins, tip acute; Involucre, conspicuous, when pressed hiding only bases of flowers, fused 2 mm. + free 3.5 mm., tip acute, Calyx not inflated in fruit; Sepals fused ≥½, tube = lobes, glabrous; Flower bilateral, 12 mm.; Corolla not inflated in fruit.
