South Table Mountain, Jefferson County, Colorado. West side of the mesa, beside the Olivine Trail, near its intersection with the Old Quarry Trail, 1.30 km. east southeast of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.753°N, 105.2062°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1890 m. Disturbed trail-side, dry and sunny, Cercocarpus montanus the dominant shrub.
