No. 2494, 4 June 2021, characters observed: Perennial tufted grass, to 35 cm; Sheath, open; Ligule, membraneous; Inflorescence, 45 mm. × 9 mm. wide, panicle, discontinuous on rachis; Spikelets, many, 5.5 mm. × 5 mm. wide; Compression, lateral; Glumes, keeled, <lowest floret, lower, 2.3 mm., veins 1, upper, 3.5 mm., veins 3; Florets, 4 per spikelet, 3 pistillate, 1 sterile; Rachilla, extends 1 mm. beyond sterile floret, Lemma, 3.5 mm. × 2 mm. wide, proximal body pappillate, veins 5 (obscure) proximal mid-vein and marginal veins hairy, chartaceous distally; Palea, 3 mm., keels ciliate.
