  Artificial and ephemeral ponds on top of North Table Mountain.

The larger pond in the center usually has perennial water. The hiker in the left middleground is on the Tilting Mesa Trail. The small ponds behind him are in the scraped area. The farthest pond on the left may be natural, but it has been enhanced at the west (right) end.
