Round Valley near Mid Hills Campground.
The vegetation in the foreground is Basin Sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) with Utah Juniper (Juniperus osteosperma). The primary rock type here is granite, which makes up the rock pile in the center ground. Pinto Mountain is the striped mountain at left. The peaks of the New York Mountains can be seen in the distance.
