Deeper soils (Clayey Foothill Range SiteO occur in drainages. Shallow soils (Shallow Foothill Range Site) predominate on the top. Rock Outcrops (hatched) form the rim, and rocky slopes (Rocky Foothill Range Site) surround the mountain.
