Large rounded outcrops of granite are visible through the Singleleaf Pinyons (Pinus monophylla). In the left foreground is the yellowish green of Green Ephedra (Ephedra viridis), and in the right foreground is the dark green foliage of Waxy Bitterbrush (Purshia tridentata var. glandulosa).
