Heterotheca foliosa (Nutt.) Shinners.  Hairy False Goldenaster.

Ranson/Edwards Homestead Open Space Park, Jefferson County, Colorado. High plains above Rocky Flats, northwest corner of Ranson/Edwards, 1.7 mi. west on CO Hwy 72 from CO Hwy 93, 2.1 mi generally north on Plainview Road, then 350 m. west. 39.8974°N, 105.2751°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 2036 m. Area with down, burned ponderosa pines, also collected here: Ceanothus fendleri, nearby Amorpha nana, Danthonia spicata, and Sorghastrum nutans.
