No. 885, 22 August 2012, characters observed while keying: Shrub, ±1 m,; Stem, tomentose through 2nd-3rd year; Leaves, 21 mm. x 2.5 mm. wide, sessile, erect, strap-shaped, entire; Involucre bell-shaped; Phyllaries, unequal, several series, but not in 5± ranks, margins thick(?), mid-ribs brown; Flowers of 1 kind, ray flowers; Receptacle epaleate; Corolla 7 mm., yellow, lobes 1 mm.; Pappus of many well-developed bristles; Style appendages (1.0 mm.) < stigma (2.2 mm.); Fruit (silky) hairy.
