Dan Abbott, author of Colorado Central Railroad, wrote to Barb Warden (23 April 2020), “The photo of north Golden was a William G. Chamberlain photo and dates to September 26, 1870 when the first train arrived in Golden from Denver over the new Colorado Central Railroad, notice the freighthouse still under construction. See also p.21 of my book Colorado Central Railroad.”
