Artemisia ludoviciana Nutt. ssp. ludoviciana.  White Sagebrush.

Colorado School of Mines Survey Field, Jefferson County, Colorado. Southeast corner of Survey Field, 2.45 km. (geodesic) south of the GNIS location of Golden 39.73354°N, 105.21837°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1819 m. Perennial herb, rhizomatous, not woody, infl. a narrow panicle, leaves entire. Highest mixed grass prairie near Rocky Mountain Front Range scarp, also nearby: Asclepias pumila, Ambrosia psilostachya, Artemisia dracunculus, Liatris punctata, and Evolvulus nuttallianus.
