Kinney Run is a local euphemistic name for Deadman Gulch and is not recognized by the Board of Geographic Names. Deadman Gulch and Heritage Dells are recognized by the BGN. It is not clear what is meant by “Eagle Ridge.” It probably refers to one of the two small hogbacks near Eagle Ridge Drive; and probably sounds better than Buzzard Ridge.
