  Nine <I>Salvia dorrii</I> seedlings in my measured plot, Transect 5.
This cluster of seedlings is found in wood from a deceased Buckhorn Cholla (Opuntia acanthocarpa). The most likely source of seed is the Salvia dorrii at right. In the middle background is a Thamnosma montana and an Eriogonum fasciculatum is in the upper right.
