Near the south end of Huntington Valley, on the west side, a spur comes out of the Diamond Mountains. At the base of this spur is a large spring where I stopped for a time. I have checked Nevada state maps, and USGS quadrangles, and the spring has no name, but I would call it "Huntington Creek Spring" for its size clearly makes it the headwaters of Huntington Creek.
