Prominent hornblende trachyte plug on Lake Tahoe, eroded by wave action during probable Tahoe-age highstands of Lake Tahoe. Tsumani wave heights of up to 6m could be expected here. An 1879 issue of the San Francisco Examiner reporteda possible tsunami at Glenbrook, and attributed collapse of rocks at Cave Rock to this event (Schweickert, et al., 2000, p. 14).
