The Independence dikes cut the face of the metamorphosed limestone in the Paleozoic sedimentary section of the dolomite quarry. The narrow gauge Dolomite Railroad hauled the white calcium/magnesium carbonate rock to the C&C/N&C (later S. P.) railroad. | |
