Literature Cited: - Florsheim, J. L., 2004.	(State Highway Milepost: 9.94) Lost Gulch. This is one of four study localities used by Florsheim (2004). Florsheim (2004) studied floodplain sedimentation from side-valley tributary fans in the high-energy Navarro River basin. Working at sites along California Highway 128 and the North Fork of the Navarro River, and at sites in Hendy Woods State Park, Florsheim described the interplay between sediments from side-valley tributaries and overbank flow from the main avial valley channel. She was also to distinguish the two disparate sediment sources on the basis of characteristic size distributions within these deposits. Of Florsheim's other three sites, one is just downstream at Buried Log Gulch, and the other two are in Hendy Woods State Park.
